Dear Husband,
My love for you has grown more than I ever imagined possible over the last 10 years. You have always been and will be my forever. I have not always been the wife you deserve, but one thing remains true – I always pray for you. Today I share with you those prayers.
What I Pray for You…
I pray for Peace. We have been through our share of difficult times in the past 10 years and I pray that God will continue to give you peace as we go through more.
I pray for Guidance. I know you seek counsel from the Holy Spirit daily and I pray that you will continue to seek His guidance as you lead our family.
I pray for Discipline. In the past few years you have become more disciplined than ever. I pray you will continue to be disciplined in whatever the Lord lays on your heart.
I pray for God to use you. Even though you may not working at your “dream job”, God has and is continuing to use you. I love hearing about the conversations you have with your regular customers and vendors. God is using you in mighty ways!! I pray that He will continue to use you no matter where we go and in ways we can’t even see yet!!
I pray for you to be SOLD OUT for Christ. Every.day.all.day.
I pray for Love. I know in our vows we said, “Til death do us part,” but I hope that is a long time from now. But until then…I pray for you to know my love for you – daily.
I pray for Strength. Not the strength of man, but of God. I pray that God will grant you the strength to lead our family on any road He takes us down.
I pray for Passion. You have a passion for God’s Word unlike anyone I’ve ever known. I am so grateful that God has drawn you close to Him and given you a passion for His Word and a desire to understand more.
I pray for Your Teaching. As you have grown in your passion for God’s Word, He has richly blessed you with a gift. It continues to amaze me how much you understand what God reveals to you to make things more clear and that you can explain it so clearly for others to understand too.
I pray for YOU.
You are a blessing from God. I have never deserved your love, yet you give it so freely. You have taught me what it means to LOVE by following the example of Christ loving his own Bride. You are my husband and I am so blessed to have you in my life. You are the best father to our children and the one I pray to grow old with.
